Strike a Paws is a fundraising event hosted by the Penn State University’s Advanced Meetings and Events class for the Animal Aid and Rescue Foundation of Pennsylvania. Our events goals are to raise awareness and funds for AARFPA and educate the public on the importance of spay/neuter. The event goals support AARFPA's mission which is to provide financial assistance to rescues and individuals to help offset the cost of medical and spay/neuter expenses and basic animal care. The event’s main attraction will be a dog fashion show, where attendees can dress their dogs up for a chance to win best dressed. There will also be pictures with Santa, a photo booth and a raffle as well as animal related vendors who will be given the chance to give information about their business. This event will help spread awareness and publicity to help AARFPA’s mission statement.
